Amy and Carlo's Wedding

I had the pleasure of providing the cupcakes for Amy and Carlo's wedding this past weekend.  They are a beautiful couple, both inside and out!!  Make sure to check them out on Amy Carroll's blog!  I'm so glad they had a chance to come down and sneak a cupcake while I was there, seriously, it made my week (I almost never get to see the bride and groom on their wedding day!)!!

They chose Red Velvet Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting topped with a Gold Bow, Chocolate Cupcakes with Peanut Butter Buttercream Frosting topped with a Chocolate Piece and Vanilla Cupcakes with Chocolate Ganache Frosting topped with gorgeous swirls.

Amy and Carlo got married at the beautiful Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in the gorgeous two story Imperial Ballroom.  Amy Carroll, with the help of Darrin Wassom, took care of the fabulous photography.  Aletha and the Pearls Events team, took care of all of the amazing planning.  Amy purchased her beautiful dress at September's Bride.  Amy's flawless makeup was done by Julie Strating.  I had the pleasure of meeting Gail Vander Laan, she was the florist and the flowers were absolutely perfect!  (Thanks Gail for helping me navigate the basement!)
What an amazing vendor line up!!

Congratulations Amy and Carlo, I wish you a lifetime of happiness!!

Congratulations Jordan and Jessi!

Jordan and Jessi were married on October 20th in Mexico and then had a Reception to follow on October 25th.  The reception was held at the University Club on top of the Fifth Third Building.  That was the first time I had been up there and I was impressed.  It was amazing!  Very spacious and the view was spectacular!

They decided to have cupcakes as the centerpieces.  What a great way to save money!  You get the "cake" and the centerpiece for one price!  They had rose petals surrounding the cupcakes and mini maracas as favors.

The goods: Red Velvet Cupcakes with Plum/Dark Purple Cream Cheese Frosting, Hot Chocolate Cupcakes with Burgundy/Maroon Fluffy Chocolate Buttercream Frosting and Carrot Cake Cupcakes with Burnt Orange Cream Cheese Frosting.

Congrats Jordan and Jessi on your marriage!

August 30, 2008 Wedding!

I had the pleasure of meeting Rebekah back in April at the Cupcake Tasting Event in Holland at September's Bride.  She had a lot of wonderful ideas that she wanted for their wedding cupcakes.  There wedding reception was held at Mangiamo, outside in the tent.  It was a gorgeous day!

The flavors included: Funfetti Cupcakes with Strawberry Buttercream Frosting (the grooms favorite cake!), Vanilla Cupcakes with Marshmallow Buttercream Frosting and Hot Chocolate Cupcakes.  The small cake for cutting was made by Rebekah's sister.

Congratulations Rebekah and Ryan!  I hope you have a wonderful honeymoon! :)

"Wedding Season" is right around the corner!

So, with that being said, I want to help you out!

I am also a "bride-to-be" and I know how stressful and exciting planning a wedding can be.
There are so many little details that are involved.

Now, if you need someone to help you setup and to take care of those little details, I know the perfect person, Aletha!

Now, if you are still deciding on a wedding cake/cupcakes, I know the perfect person, me!

I think that cupcakes are a great idea for weddings...smaller, less mess, no cake cutting fee, I could go on and on!!

I would like to offer a special!!
