lil' Miss Cupcake wants to take a moment to thank all of my amazing clients!!  Without you I wouldn't be able to do what I love!  My favorite moments are setting up the pretty lil' cupcakes for a wedding and viewing the final product, delivering cupcakes and seeing the joy on peoples faces, receiving thanks, etc. etc. etc.  I absolutely love what I do and it makes me so happy to see others happy!

lil' Miss Cupcake feels so blessed to be completely booked up for the summer!  I wish I could take on more but there simply isn't enough hours in the day!  I am booked up through the end of August.  So, all of you Fall/Winter brides, there is still availability!  

The picture above is from Emily and Joe's October 2008 wedding.  It was taken by Ben and Mindy of Studio 6.23, a fabulous husband and wife team who deliver pictures that are just as vibrant as they are!

I met Daniel J. Pesta at MWEP in April.  He is a caring person and very passionate about photography!  We talked about doing a cupcake photo shoot and boy did he deliver!!

I brought some pretty lil' cupcakes to his house/studio to get photographed.  Let me just tell you, he has an amazing studio in the basement!  Beautiful pictures everywhere!

I'm a little late with this blog post but this Sunday is Easter and I wanted to remind you that cupcakes make the perfect addition to your holiday dinner (or brunch)!

While I was in Colonial Williamsburg, VA I found an adorable gourmet candy shop called Wythe Gourmet Candy Shop and they had these fabulous caramel and chocolate robin eggs!  They are a rich bright blue and completely delicious caramel center!  The picture above is from last Easter and I wanted to do something similar this year.  Now, on to the special...

For $40 you will receive:

*1 dozen cupcakes in any flavor (one flavor per dozen) you choose AND...

*half a dozen Coconut Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting topped with Coconut dyed green like Easter grass (like pic above) and a Caramel Chocolate Robin Egg.

I remember when I was getting married (only last summer!) and we had the daunting task of deciding on the perfect favor.  One that guests would use, one that guests would like, one that added to the decor, one that was pretty...etc, etc, etc.   Well, I have the perfect wedding favor!  Cupcakes!!!  But of course!! ;)

Cupcakes are the perfect wedding favor because:

Amy and Carlo's Wedding

I had the pleasure of providing the cupcakes for Amy and Carlo's wedding this past weekend.  They are a beautiful couple, both inside and out!!  Make sure to check them out on Amy Carroll's blog!  I'm so glad they had a chance to come down and sneak a cupcake while I was there, seriously, it made my week (I almost never get to see the bride and groom on their wedding day!)!!

They chose Red Velvet Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting topped with a Gold Bow, Chocolate Cupcakes with Peanut Butter Buttercream Frosting topped with a Chocolate Piece and Vanilla Cupcakes with Chocolate Ganache Frosting topped with gorgeous swirls.  

Amy and Carlo got married at the beautiful Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in the gorgeous two story Imperial Ballroom.  Amy Carroll, with the help of Darrin Wassom, took care of the fabulous photography.  Aletha and the Pearls Events team, took care of all of the amazing planning.  Amy purchased her beautiful dress at September's Bride.  Amy's flawless makeup was done by Julie Strating.  I had the pleasure of meeting Gail Vander Laan, she was the florist and the flowers were absolutely perfect!  (Thanks Gail for helping me navigate the basement!)

What an amazing vendor line up!!

lil' Miss Cupcake's Blog turns one!!

One year ago today I created a blog for lil' Miss Cupcake!  Happy Anniversary to me! :)

Also, lil' Miss Cupcake has a branch-spanking new website!  There are a couple kinks that still need to be worked out and more pictures to be added but for the most part it is finished!  I am so excited to have my new website and logo finished and I would like to give a big THANK YOU to Jen with JK Photography!  Now, each of the cupcakes have their very own picture!  :)

I'm back!

I am back in Michigan and everything is back to business as usual.  My email is working again (yay!) and I am in the process of returning all emails and telephone calls from the past week.  

The cupcakes above were made for a baby shower a couple weeks ago.  This week I will try to post all of the pictures that I have been meaning to share with you!

Congratulations Jordan and Jessi!

Jordan and Jessi were married on October 20th in Mexico and then had a Reception to follow on October 25th.  The reception was held at the University Club on top of the Fifth Third Building.  That was the first time I had been up there and I was impressed.  It was amazing!  Very spacious and the view was spectacular!

They decided to have cupcakes as the centerpieces.  What a great way to save money!  You get the "cake" and the centerpiece for one price!  They had rose petals surrounding the cupcakes and mini maracas as favors.

'Tis the season...to start blogging again!

During the month of November I was a little slow on the cupcake end so that I could help out my sister with her new baby.  He is such a joy and a handful. :)  The fabulous Jen of JK Photography took Dylan's newborn pictures, which were amazing!  

Now it is December and I am back to business as usual!  This weekend kicks off the holiday parties so if you need a special treat (cupcakes...hint, hint!) let me know!
