I'm a little late with this blog post but this Sunday is Easter and I wanted to remind you that cupcakes make the perfect addition to your holiday dinner (or brunch)!

While I was in Colonial Williamsburg, VA I found an adorable gourmet candy shop called Wythe Gourmet Candy Shop and they had these fabulous caramel and chocolate robin eggs!  They are a rich bright blue and completely delicious caramel center!  The picture above is from last Easter and I wanted to do something similar this year.  Now, on to the special...

For $40 you will receive:

*1 dozen cupcakes in any flavor (one flavor per dozen) you choose AND...

*half a dozen Coconut Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting topped with Coconut dyed green like Easter grass (like pic above) and a Caramel Chocolate Robin Egg.

Valentine's Day is just around the corner

I can't believe that Valentine's Day is right around the corner!  I happen to think that cupcakes make the perfect Valentine's Day gift ;)  I still have some availability on that weekend, let me know if you would like to place an order.

'Tis the season...to start blogging again!

During the month of November I was a little slow on the cupcake end so that I could help out my sister with her new baby.  He is such a joy and a handful. :)  The fabulous Jen of JK Photography took Dylan's newborn pictures, which were amazing!  

Now it is December and I am back to business as usual!  This weekend kicks off the holiday parties so if you need a special treat (cupcakes...hint, hint!) let me know!

Cinco de Mayo Party!

The lovely Kerri from Taylor Grey Photography hosted a Cinco de Mayo party for some local wedding vendors and I had a blast!  The drinks were fabulous and the company was amazing!  I decided to make Margarita Cupcakes for the party.  The lowdown... the margarita cupcakes boosted Sauza Tequila, fresh lime juice and they were VEGAN!  The cupcakes were topped with sugar rim and lime wedge.  Yum!

I also shared some with some family members who are very "meat and potatoes" people and they couldn't tell the difference between the vegan cupcakes and the cupcakes made with eggs, real milk and butter!  They loved them! :) 

It doesn't need to be Cinco de Mayo to enjoy them, they are the perfect addition to any summer party!

It's Graduation Time!

I saw this photo from The Conscious Kitchen and it reminded me that it's almost High School and College Graduation time!  It has been a while since I have been in school! :)

Easter is just around the corner and I have been experimenting with some ideas.

I made some Peep Cakes, unfortunately peeps were harmed in this process!  I melted 

some peeps into the Marshmallow frosting to give it a lovely purple color!
