Pictures from the event at The B.O.B

Last Thursday I provided cupcakes for the Wolverine World Wide Hush Puppie's 50th birthday at The B.O.B.  Karie was so sweet and emailed me pictures from the event!  Thank you Karie!

For the event I made Carrot Cake Cupcakes, S'mores Cupcakes and Vanilla Cupcakes with Marshmallow Buttercream Frosting, both mini and traditional size.

The event was held in the Eve Lounge on the 4th floor.  Eve is relatively new to The B.O.B and it is gorgeous up there!

Thanks again Karie for taking pictures!

Birthday Cupcakes!

Okay, I REALLY need to learn how to use photoshop!!  I promise I will soon!  These Cupcakes spell out Olivia!

I apologize for my lack of posting, I have been feeling under the weather.

Over the weekend I made these fabulous cupcakes for a little girl named Olivia.  They were Pink Velvet with Cream Cheese Frosting, Vanilla Cupcakes with White Marshmallow Buttercream Frosting and Vanilla Cupcakes with Pink Marshmallow Buttercream Frosting.  They were adorned with Fondant flowers and Fondant hearts that spelled out "Happy Birthday Olivia" :)

Throw a Sex and the City Party!

Photo courtesy of New Line Cinema

I saw this article posted on TheNest and I thought it was a fabulous idea!

The key ingredients:

~Sex and City DVD's to watch before the movie comes out May 30th

~An amazing martini.  I will suggest lil' Miss Cupcake's favorite version of a "Flirtini"...Champagne (or sparling cider for the under 21 fans) and Pineapple Juice in a Pink Sugar Rimmed Glass.  Yum!  Remember the episode where Samantha threw a fabulous party on her rooftop and served, what else, flirtini's!

~Cupcakes (of course!)!  I would suggest lil' Miss Cupcakes's fabulous Champagne Cupcakes with Pink Champagne Buttercream Frosting!

~Your best girlfriends!  Gather your girlfriends and get dolled up!  The Nest article describes each of the characters style and it would be fun to have each of your girlfriends dress up like Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda!

Pretty in Pink!

Can't you tell I love pink?!

These cute lil' cuppycakes are Hot Chocolate Cupcakes with Marshmallow Peppermint Schnapps Buttercream Frosting.

Very wintery but fitting picture for today because it is rainy and chilly in my house (even though they were made yesterday when it was warm!).

Sprinkles Cupcakes and the fabulous Bree

The lil' cupcake that could...delivered all the way from Arizona!

Where is Dave when I need him?!  haha, sorry that I don't have the photoshop skills!

Look at that cute cactus!

How did Bree know that I love Red Velvet?! :)

I'm about to enjoy!

One of my wonderful October Brides, Bree, went to Arizona and paid a visit to the new Sprinkles Cupcake Shop.  She brought me back a Sprinkles cupcake, how nice is she?!

She brought me a yummy Red Velvet Cupcake topped with a delightful mini cactus...darling!

Thanks Bree! :)

Cinco de Mayo Party!

The lovely Kerri from Taylor Grey Photography hosted a Cinco de Mayo party for some local wedding vendors and I had a blast!  The drinks were fabulous and the company was amazing!  I decided to make Margarita Cupcakes for the party.  The lowdown... the margarita cupcakes boosted Sauza Tequila, fresh lime juice and they were VEGAN!  The cupcakes were topped with sugar rim and lime wedge.  Yum!

I also shared some with some family members who are very "meat and potatoes" people and they couldn't tell the difference between the vegan cupcakes and the cupcakes made with eggs, real milk and butter!  They loved them! :)

It doesn't need to be Cinco de Mayo to enjoy them, they are the perfect addition to any summer party!
