Interview

So, this blog is new and lil' Miss Cupcake is new. You probably don't know a lot about lil' Miss Cupcake, so here is your chance! Rebecca Heynen, owner of lil' Miss
Cupcake is interviewing herself! (Interview questions from a Cakespy Interview)

What is your most popular cupcake flavor?
Probably the Hot Chocolate Cupcake, everyone goes crazy over the rich, light and fluffy frosting.

What is your personal favorite flavor?
That is hard because I love them all! Right now, probably the Pink Velvets... cream cheese frosting with delightfully pink little cakes full of white chocolatey goodness!

Do you sell anything other than cupcakes?
Currently we only make cupcakes. Anything can happen in the future, I'm sure when I have a Bake Shop we will have all kinds of goodies (but mostly cupcakes)!

What in your opinion is the best time of day to eat cupcakes?
8am- Coffee Cupcake, for a morning pick-me-up.
3pm- Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcake, for a little protein mid-day to stay focused.
7pm- Coconut Cupcake, for an after dinner snack.
10pm- S'mores Cupcake, for a late night treat. :)

What, if anything, makes a "bad" cupcake?
Cupcakes seem hard to mess up but actually there are a lot of little details that will affect the way a cupcake will turn out. There are several things that could make a
"bad" cupcake. Poor ingredients will affect the cupcakes taste. Paying attention to baking time is really important, every oven is truly different!

Will cupcakes ever go out of style?
I don't think so. Cupcakes are classic, just like Audrey Hepburn, red lipstick and black pumps.  I remember enjoying cupcakes when I was 5 years old and I will still enjoy them when I am 80 years old!

What is next for lil' Miss Cupcake?

I would like to continue to share Cupcakes with Grand Rapids! Eventually I would also like to open a lil' Miss Cupcake Bake Shop/Cupcakery.
